The e-Claims work area gives access to all the data stored for electronic claim processing with the HSO Portal/Hearing Services Program

•Batch Log displays a record of all claim batches, including when each batch was prepared, uploaded and downloaded, the number of accepted and rejected items and a copy of the batch

•Pending displays a list of all claims which have been "sent to Pending" but not yet processed into a batch

•View Batch allows you to inspect the contents of all batch files stored in the ..\EClaims folder. This item also includes a function to allow you to view the exact content of each line of a batch file and what each item contains

•Connect to HSO causes HearAid to connect to the secure HSO web site for uploading and downloading claim batches. Once you connect to HSO you are in the hands of the Internet and the HSO web site... any error messages you encounter while connected to HSO are NOT generated by HearAid!

•Reconcile processes items in a selected batch file and marks the original claims as "Paid" if the claim has been accepted

•Accepted lists the accepted items for the currently selected batch in the Batch Log

•Rejected lists the rejected items for the currently selected batch in the Batch Log
