Import HSP Claim History Lists

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The Claim History for a relocating client, generated and downloaded from the HSO Portal, can be imported into their claim record in HearAid.

1.Connect to the HSO Portal and find the client

2.From the Claims History panel, click the Export button and save the file. It is important that the file be saved as a CSV file and that you can find the downloaded file easily for the next steps

3.Select the client in HearAid, making sure you have selected the same client whose claim history you have just downloaded. This is important because the Claim History Listing does not include the client's voucher number, so there is no way of identifying the client from the contents of the downloaded file!

4.Click on Claims, then click on the Import Claims button on the work-area toolbar

7.At this point you can delete any items you do not want to import

8.Click the Import Claims button. The listed claims will be imported into the currently selected client's claim record

Notes:

Only Approved items will be imported

Any claims with the same item number and service date as already-existing items in HearAid will not be imported again

The imported claims will not contain Site or Practitioner information, or amounts - this is by design so that imported claims do not distort any reports based on claims generated by your business

Imported claims will be coloured dark green to differentiate them from claims you create and process
