The most common reason for this occurring is having View, Status or Location on the main toolbar set to something other than "All Clients" or "All Locations" ie one or more of those boxes is coloured yellow, as shown below.

Clicking on the client in the Select Client list will generate this message

Once those boxes are set back to All Clients and All Locations, all clients will be visible in Client Details
