The Reckon interface simplifies the transfer of HSP claim information from HearAid to the Reckon Accounting business accounting programs. The interface enables

1Exporting Client data from HearAid
 
Once the Reckon interface has been correctly installed, an additional Export tool bar button becomes available for the Client Details work-area, which will directly export the currently selected client into Reckon

2The Invoice button in Claims will create an invoice against the currently selected client for the Total Client Pays amount for the selected claim. The Client Pays amount is the sum of any HSC fee and top-up fees for the claim

oAn invoice against the Hearing Services Program for the HSP Pays amount will be generated when the Accepted Items table is processed for the batch in which the claim is lodged successfully

oReckon will not allow you to have more than one customer with the same name

3The Invoice button in e-Claims|Accepted will create an invoice against the Hearing Services Program with line entries for each Paid claim item in the batch, indicating the name of the client and a description of the item. The invoice date is set as the Payment Due date for the batch

The interface only works with Reckon Accounts Pro or higher/Reckon Desktop Edition (ie not Reckon On-line)
