This function will clear entries in the selected Log table where the time-stamp of the log entry is earlier than a specified date; the default date will be the number of weeks prior to the current date specified in Tools|Options|General|Purge Log Entries Older Than (Default Weeks). The user is prompted to set the cut-off date for the purge

•Selecting Completed Device Loans will remove all completed loans, regardless of the Issued and Returned dates

•Otherwise, select the log table you would like to purge by clicking one of the buttons. You will be prompted to set a cut-off date, which will offer the default date

and after clicking Yes you will be prompted to confirm this action

After the purging log tables it is suggested you compact the database by performing a Backup/Restore cycle
