Program Help

HearAid uses a context-sensitive on-line help system

HelpMenu

Context-sensitive Help is called by pressing the F1 key on the keyboard and will display help information specific to the current Work-Area

Contents will open the help file at the main contents page

HearSoft Web Site will open the Windows default web browser and take you to www.hearsoft.com.au where you can find program updates

HearSoft Help Desk opens the Windows default web browser and connects to the RemotePC HelpDesk app for remote support at https://app.remotepc.com/hd-app/help

Connections will display a dialog box listing the users currently connected to the database (typically because they have HearAid open on their computers). Clicking OK will close the dialog, while clicking Refresh will update the list

About HearAid shows a pop-up window listing details about the HearAid program, including the Version Number, Release Date and the location of the database file on the server

Check for Program Update will contact the HearSoft web site and compare the version number of the HearAi7.exe program you are using against the version number of the latest program update. If your network allows HearAid external access, you will receive a message, either

if you are using the latest build, or
 
 

Stretch Toolbars toggles the toolbars between occupying the full width of the program window, or only as much space as is needed to display the toolbars' contents:

About HearAid displays details about the program version and build number, release date and location of the database on the server computer

About
