The Default Preferences function restores the HearAid program window to it original size and position, cancelling any changes the user may have made in re-sizing or moving the program window. All user-defined preferences are reset to default values and any invisible toolbars will also be restored.

The user is prompted to confirm this action

The program will then advise you that

Clicking OK will complete the process and the next time HearAid is started by that logged in Windows user the program will have reset all settings.

Note: User preferences are stored in files named after the Windows user name (NOT the HearAid username) and stored in the ..\HearSoft\HearAid\Profiles folder. Resetting to default preferences will apply to only the profile files linked to the currently logged in Windows user.
